3rd Annual /co/ Awards -- Voting Ballots

Below are the ballots for the 3rd Annual /co/ Awards. Please, educate yourself on all nominees before making a vote to ensure a most accurate result is achieved.

Ballots will close on Sunday, February 2nd, 2014.

GUIDE TO PREFERENTIAL VOTING

1)  You will rank all five nominees in order of preference, with number 1 indicating your first preference to win that category, number 2 indicating your second, etc. Drag the nominees from the left-hand column to the right-hand column, and order your choices from there.

2) If you are not familiar with a certain nomination, please either (A) refrain from voting on that category until you have read it, seen it, etc., or, if you have no time to do so, (B) do NOT rank that nomination on your preference list. Simply leave it in the left-hand column.

3) You may return to edit your ballot up until the voting ballots close on Sunday, February 2nd. To edit your ballot, simply click on the ballot link you would like to edit. Your previous nomination selections should show up when you do so. When you finish editing, make sure to hit the submit button.

TALLYING

4) As we are trying to measure quality over quantity, votes will be tallied by percentage value, not raw number value. This is why it is imperative that if you are not familiar with a certain nominee, you do NOT place it on your preference list.

5) The nominee with the lowest percentage of 1st place votes will be eliminated. Those who listed that nominee as their 1st preference will have their vote changed to the nominee they chose as their 2nd place preference. With these revised numbers, the nominee with the NEXT lowest percentage of 1st place votes will be eliminated. This process then continues until there is only one nominee left. That nominee is then declared the winner of that category. If a tie occurs, more than one nominee may be declared winner of a category.
